ACADEMIC POLICIES PowerSchool: Students and Parent/Guardian(s) are given access codes to the PowerSchool attendance and grading system at the beginning of Freshmen year. Grading information is maintained regularly throughout the school year by individual teachers. PowerSchool serves as a real-time progress report for all students. Every family is required to have a PowerSchool Parent Account to regularly monitor their student’s academic progress and to complete required school forms. Parent Conferences: Offered for all students after the first quarter (October) and after the third quarter (March). Conferences are arranged at other times by appointment if requested by individual parents, teachers or counselors. Parents are encouraged to contact school personnel with concerns. Report Cards: Emailed and posted in Parent Portals at the end of each quarter/semester for all students. Letter Grade – Grade Point Equivalent Values: Grading System A (100-93) = 4.00 B (86-83) = 3.00 C (76-73) = 2.00 D (66-63) = 1.00

A- (92-90) = 3.67 B- (82-80) = 2.67 C- (72-70) = 1.67 D- (62-60) = 0.67

B+ (89-87) = 3.33 C+ (79-77) = 2.33 D+ (69-67) = 1.33 F (59-0) = 0.00

Honor Roll: Based on grade point average (GPA) for Q1, S1, Q3, & S2: High Honors: 3.8 + Honors: 3.5 - 3.79 (Commended: 3.33 - 3.49 - Grades 9 & 10 only) Academic Letters: Awarded to students who have achieved a 3.67 cumulative GPA at the end of S1 of their sophomore year. Academic Medals: Awarded to students who have received an academic letter and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.67 after S1 of their junior year.
