Oracle Exam Preparation Computer programming is the way of the future. Although it has already been around over twenty years, technology is making advances in a way it never has before. Software companies are among the top grossing companies in the world and they are only growing bigger. If you want to be an asset to any computer program corporation, you have to get your Oracle certification, in Kuwait or wherever you’re located. It is an intimidating exam that is hard to prepare for. The following tips, however, can help with your preparation: start early and create a study plan.

Start Early Many people think to do well on exams they can cram a few days before and learn all the information necessary. This is not the case with Oracle training programs in Kuwait or anywhere else. The classes are fast paced and filled with a lot of information. It is essential that you start studying early- meaning early into the course not early in the day. In order to stay up on all of the information, you have to review daily the things you are learning and test yourself often to see with what objectives you are struggling. To do so, preform a ‘gap analysis’ by reviewing the objectives and grade your understanding of each as either high (10), medium (5), or low (1). Based on your results, you can start building a study plan.

Create a Study Plan Your study plan is composed of many factors including scheduling, time allotment and area of focus. To create an effective plan, you first need to decide what days you will study based on your workload. Some days, you will learn an immense amount of information and it is imperative that you schedule sufficient time to study. Second, you will need to decide a time allotment. This may vary from week to week depending on your workload, but it is important that you have at least the minimum amount of time scheduled out each week for studying. Then, if you need to adjust your schedule to allow further study, you will already have made some time so it won’t be as difficult to find more. Third, based, on your gap analysis, decide on an area of focus. Although it is important to review all information to ensure it stays fresh in your brain, it isn’t necessary to spend the same amount of time reviewing objectives you understand as the ones you don’t. Instead, make a list of those objectives that scored the lowest on your analysis and make them your top priority. Only when you feel completely comfortable with them should you move on or study previously understood material.

The world is changing quickly and technology has a lot to do with it. If you have decided you want to have an edge on most and complete the Oracle courses, in Kuwait or wherever you live, be sure to study early and create a plan. Photo Credit: Krappweis, 7rains
