From August 9 to 16, Valdocco and Colle Don Bosco in Italy became the heart of youthful enthusiasm and spiritual reflection during the Salesian Youth Synod. The event brought together 350 participants from 90 countries, including 264 youth, 47 Salesians, 19 FMAs, and 21 laypeople. Representing the Philippine North Province (FIN) was Daisy Elloran.
It is noteworthy that Fr. Vivo and Ms. Jo Grafil were among the main organizers of this significant gathering, ensuring its success and impact on all who attended.

The Himig ng Kabataan Alay kay Don Bosco Choral Competition of St. John Bosco Parish Makati, organized by the SJB Ministry on Music and Cultural Affairs and co-presented with Beko Pilipinas Corporation, concluded successfully on August 24.
HIMIG welcomed back church-based youth choirs after the COVID-19 pandemic, with seven choirs making it to the grand finals. Among these finalists was the Dominic Savio Youth Choir from Canlubang.

Aspirantate Formation House welcomed twelve new aspirants for the Formation Year 2024-2025. The ceremony, filled with hope and devotion, marked the beginning of their journey in following Don Bosco’s footsteps.
The new aspirants come from various Salesian institutions and parishes, including Don Bosco College in Canlubang, Don Bosco Technical Institute in Tarlac, St. John Bosco Parish in Tondo, Don Bosco Academy in Mabalacat, and beyond. Among them are also adult vocations from Pasig City and Nigeria, showcasing the diversity of those called to the Salesian way of life.
