the project area is in contact with its surroundings thanks to the high-speed train and tramway. the d100, tram and high-speed train divides the city into lower and upper parts. at this point, overpasses serve as nodes. when the region was experienced, the trace created by pedestrians themselves was discovered. this trail is settled. concept; to turn the journey itself into a museum. a new slope was proposed, consisting of 30 cm wide, 15 cm high wood and various sizes of plates. the slope is located at various elevations between the water level and +2.50 elevation. The aim is to constantly change and keep the users’ relationships with water alive. when the waters rise, a part of the slope ground will be submerged and will be exposed when the waters recede. so they will get wet and mossy. water vapor on the canal surface can be experienced here. the modules combine to form both the furniture, closed units and slopes and emphasize the pedestrian track.




Some experience galleries have been created, in the gallery at the far end of the promontory, the facades are glass, so that the view of the water, the reflection of the sunrise and sunset in the water can be witnessed. A management office and security have been resolved. The pedestrian tracks, which are constantly visible throughout the indoor spaces, sometimes make alternative orientations to the users by making protrusions reaching up to the reeds. A cafe with an open kitchen, living area, storage and wet area has been solved. The last two indoor spaces are experience galleries. The first is a long narrow corridor with a height of 2.50 meters. While walking in it, reeds accompany us on both sides. At the end of the gallery, the reeds in the open area are reached and the scale changes suddenly. CC section is this gallery. The wooden logs forming the museum are exhibited in the last gallery. Here, the philosophy of understanding the combination of the museum’s raw material and water is aimed.

The most important value of Bayramoğlu’s national and local interaction is the sports activities organized by the sailing club. Especially the sailing races that it organizes several times a year is one of the biggest elements that enliven the region. Bayramoğlu sailing club is a close distance to other sailing clubs in the Marmara sea, and this location advantage has helped define the concept. However, the sailing club and its activities only appeal to the interested. Local people are not able to engage in these activities, except for monitoring. The idea of a toy sailing workshop was developed in order to include local people in such a value. A toy sailing competition will be held once a month among the toy sails produced in the workshop, viewers will be able to watch the race on a giant screen and the products can also be sold as souvenirs.

There may be an exhibition of workshop products and souvenirs can be sold in the square. For this, a market and exhibition space can be created by attaching the steel constructions in the square to different places. The workshop front turned into a giant screen, and races and movies can be watched. The relationship between the cafe and the waiting room was solved by transforming the grid system into a coffee shop between the two places. The coffee shop can give coffee to all four sides. So; Drinks can be served to the passengers in the waiting room, people walking and cycling, people riding a boat, and customers in the cafe. Glue-marinated birch wood plates are proposed as a material between the steel constructions in the spaces created with the grid plane (sail store and coffee shop & kitchen). Concrete was used in workshop, waiting room and cafe construction.


The link between the spaces is provided with a steel grid eaves acting as a spine. This grid system turns into the space itself at some points. On the east side of the workshop, the grid has turned into a sail store. The safe in the store serves both the store and the workshop. There is no transition between the store and the atelier as the purpose of the store users and the users to atelier is different. The relationship is solved by the position of the safe. Users in the workshop benefit from the materials in the store in this way. In the workshop, there is also a place for a denim that touches the water in the open area, so it is recommended to build a sailboat by trying it on the water. The races will start from the pier bay and viewers will be able to watch the race from the open area of the workshop, the pier and the cliffs. While designing the landscape, the design of the area where the audience will sit and the bicycles and benches on the pedestrian and bicycle path has been solved by inspiring from the grid system.

Stairs that connect Sanatkarlar Street to Batarya Street are an environment where Cihangir residents have been keeping their neighborhood conversations for years and sipping their drinks while watching the sunset. The municipality’s establishment of a social facility in Rome Park has attracted a reaction. On the other hand, “Roma Bostanı İnsanları”, “Emek Sineması İnsiyatifi”, “Bombalara Karşı Sofralar” and many people who value green and public living spaces gathered in Rome. “Roma Bostanı İnsanları”, the seeds and seedlings they prepared; “Bombalara Karşı Sofralar”, on the other hand, shared the dishes they cooked with those who came. A curtain was opened on the elevation of the stairs touching Sanatkarlar Street and the documentary “Özgürleşen Seyirci: Emek Sineması Mücadelesi” was watched together for the first time in the open air.

The Roman park has ceased to be a park today, and has turned into a place where it is dangerous for even children to arrive at certain times. The park was removed, the concrete remains were left inside the park. The project was approached through the theme of “temporariness” with a proposal that would not harm the green and make the park live again. A place where everyone interested in music can be accommodated at the same time has been considered. The upper floor of the two-storey space is reserved for workshops and the lower floor for accommodation. Users are temporary and variable. At the same time, when the +0.18 and +0.36 levels of the venue are turned into the stage. The music produced will not be limited in that area but will be distributed to the environment. Thus, the people sitting on the stairs will be listeners. Music will know no boundaries and will surpass the medium in which it is produced. It will pass to the Roman stairs. The externally visible part of the project,where the slope-embedded settlement is proposed,is the vertical circulation vehicle,namely the elevator and the stairs surrounding it. The amphitheater, which can be used to watch the scene, has a portable screen that can turn into a cinema screen. With the opening of the curtain, people who settle on the stage this time enjoy a wonderful movie night.

Although the number of workshops in Yeldeğirmeni exceeds the face and the cazz festival is hosted, the music workshops are few. I n o r d e r t o o v e r c o m e t h i s d e f i c i e n c y , t h e i d e a o f ​​m u s i c w o r k s h o p is concentrated. The music was not wanted to be pinched to a certain point. The location is concentrated on the streets that do not have the effect of cazz festival. Iskele Car Park is in a location that Yeldeğirmeni locals and outsiders can reach and it does not have a festival effect. Over time, it will create its own atmosphere.

The apartments in the parking lot have been parasitized and the parking lot was not damaged. There is an idle area to the south of the apartments, the workshops were not asked to see this area. Therefore, the project continues to the south, decreasing. It completely closes the Southern view. It takes advantage of the opening of İskele Sokak to the sea and overflows to the street. The glasses are increased in order to see the view in the overflowing points.

The elevation of +11.51 is designed as a viewing terrace with a sea view. It is a place where users and listeners can get air. Both the sea and the neighborhood can be seen from the terrace with the dj cabin and offer the users a unique dance experience. Various stage performances can be staged in the mini stage at +06,11 level. Viewers can watch these shows at +03.31 level. Workshop volumes can be increased according to need with plates that can be attached and removed. If the idle area is cleaned i n t h e f u t u r e , t h e i d e a o f ​​a c o m p l e t e l y c l o s e d p r o j e c t c a n b e o p e n e d , a n d even a new workshop can be created by moving the plate to the south.

In the pathway, the arrangement of the modules with gaps vented the soil. The ecological balance has been preserved. Plants that will grow from the gaps are provided to be part of the path. Based on the principle of openness and closeness, four fronts of the modules were closed at some points, and fronts were opened towards some points. The top and front of the cruise area with +4.50 elevation is completely open and at this point there is surrender to nature. Its location has been chosen so that users can witness the moments when the moon and sunlight are reflected in the water. The area has the highest quota on the path, and at the end of the journey it is an ideal place to rest a little, sit, think or relax.


The underground and over the eaves were attached to the valley from different elevations, increasing the structure and adding mobility to the path. The modules are interconnected using the Japanese tree lock technique.

The reason for the eaves to remain at the same level in the middle part of the pathway and thus to move more calmly is that the valley is already in a rotational movement at those points. No external intervention was required. Here, it is aimed that users can see the landscape suddenly, feel the water and hear the flow sound clearly. At this point, the foam that licks the path with the acceleration gained while the water is flowing will wet the wood. Over time, the wood will smell, moss, rot and even some of it will be mixed with water. The path will allow nature to take a piece of it from itself.
