Letter from the editor: Aloha Doodle Universe. Welcome to the premier issue of the quintesenntial doodlers periodical. On behalf of the entire Doodle Brainz staff, our panel of scientists, and future subscribers, I would like to thank you for your support and commitment to our half-baked plan to take over the world one doodle at a time. This month alone we’ve managed to span the majority of North America, uniting a thread of people who would have otherwise gone mistakingly unoticed for their greatness. Each and every submission has been combed through and boiled down to the very essence of doodle culture. We’ve been working tirelessly to bring you a magazine that we hope both inspires you, and reminds you there’s always someone out there who is just bored and inherently artistic as you are. No matter how much the big guys up top work you, tax you, annoy you, fire you, bore you, or sell you, you’ll always have your doodles. And you’ll always have Doodle Brainz. Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts. -Ian McAllister

* While we at Doodle Brainz headquarters realize that these submissions definitely break the manifesto, we hope they inspire you to see how far your doodles can go. Thank you Bob for this kick-ass work.

Featured Doodler of the Month:

Pen or pencil?

Pen! Pen! Pen! And only if I didn’t pay for it, unless it’s a marker, I am obsessed with buying markers. What is your doodling past?

When I was in kindergarten I drew a picture of a Mexican man smoking a cigarette. That was the kinda the start of it all. What is your motivation for doodling?

Boredom and/or alcohol Has doodling ever saved your life?

No, and its never gotten me a date either. How much doodling is too much doodling?

Just remember, you need to get your security deposit back at some point. Where do you see yourself doodling in 10 years?

I have no idea. But I’ll probably be doodling the exact same things. Where do you doodle your best?

On my friends kitchen table during parties while either really happy or really sad. But the problem with this is that people then walk off with my doodles so some of my best ones are MIA. If you could doodle one famous person over the age of 75 naked who would it be?

Dollie Parton. Is she over 75 yet? What advice do you have for the young doodlers out there?

Keep all your doodles safe in a tucked away place. Then go get a degree you can use. Is it safe to drink and doodle?

In a previous question I accidentally typed “droodle”. I think that answers this question on several levels. Doodling is next to godliness. True or False?

Sure why not
