Turn your ideas into impact Stop waiting for someone else to change the world. Ask Yourself, “Why Not Me?” If you could change one thing, what would you change? optiMize is a supportive community for student innovators working toward a just and sustainable world.t
With the right mentorship and support, we believe anyone can learn to turn their ideas into impact. Our programs are designed to help you get started and to help you keep going.
We believe that college should be a time to take action on projects you’re passionate about, whether that means urban farming, inclusive education, or virtual reality.
We’ve partnered with the University of Michigan College of LSA to create a future where every student has a chance to identify challenges they’re passionate about and take action to make an impact.

Branding History Progression of optiMize’s Logo optiMize branding always had a prominent color of blues with a sense of serenity, intensity and sincerity, while the pictorial portion of the logo derived from the idea of globe. The globe logo implied the idea that optiMize focuses on global issues. Since the teams that participate in the program focus on local issues as well, the globe logo wasn’t properly representing the organization.

The New Logo The new branding reflects a progression of an idea that optiMize guides the students through the social innovation programs. Serifa continues the geometric forms in the old typography, while accentuating the symmetric and circular form to accompany the logo.
The logo can also be used without the lettering for vertical space
