miller art museum Founded by local artist Gerhard Miller and his wife Ruth in 1975. The museum features Wisconsin artists from the early 20th century to the present day in drawings, paintings, and photography. The exhibits in the main gallery change every seven weeks. Open year-round.

door county maritime museum The county’s rich maritime roots are showcased in this museum. Learn about the seafaring pioneers — fisherman, ship captains, and lighthouse keepers. Tug boats, birch bark canoes, and models of naval vessels are on display. A new addition to the Museum is the recently-launched 10-story Jim Kress Maritime Lighthouse Tower, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire historic working waterfront, featuring exhibits that vividly bring the area’s heritage to life.
