PRESIDENT’S FOREWORD ABOUT AIESEC IN UPNVY EXECUTIVE BOARD DEPARTMENT’S REPORT PERFORMANCE REVIEW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US NEXT GENERATION

CONTENT

FOREWORD FROM

PRESIDENT

It is a huge privilege for me to lead this Youth Leadership Movement in our university chapter, AIESEC UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. If I look back at our term, it is full of challenges, not just a kind of challenge that we face, but a biggest one. In the very beginning of term, our entity was about to get disbanded. Knowing that our entity was about to get disbanded, it broke my heart. It broke my heart to remember all of the spirit that my member has. It broke my heart that our impact will stop there. It broke my heart, that I haven’t done something for my role as President. But, in the end, we have proved that the challenge can’t stop our spirit and hope for our entity and Yogyakarta. We passed it through together, even more than I expected before. We grow like never before. We bond like never before. It all because we believe that, what we are doing in AIESEC is fully relevant to what our society need. Personally, I surely believe in the impact that AIESEC given. The leaders of today that we developed and positive impact that we always tried to spread to our surroundings, it all relevant for betterment of Indonesia. We are actively facilitate youth to be self-aware, solution-oriented, who can empower others and has world citizen mindset. And the impact that we contributed portrayed by the growth of exchange performance and various events that we held during this one year journey. This Annual Report summarizes what AIESEC UPNVY has done for the entire term 2015-2016. This report symbolizes a proof that there are still a lot of passionate young people in this country who are ready to make a good change and believing in their dreams. On behalf of AIESEC in UPNVY, I would like to appreciate all of members and stakeholders for your involvement during this one year journey. Your involvement means a lot for this entity in order to grow more. I hope AIESEC in UPNVY can produce more trustworhty leaders and actively contributing more for society in the future.

GLOBAL CITIZEN Ruth Estika, Pharmacy, 2014. I knew Global Citizen by AIESEC from a friend that ever tried this experience, her name is Maria, she went to Hungary as well but different project. She told me to try AIESEC in UPNVY because she said this local committee is a responsible one. Then I applied in the link they provided and then I was contacted by someone, later I know, he is one of the manager in oGC, to arrange interview with me. I passed the interview and I processed then until I got the project in Hungary (LC Budapest University with project name: Equal Chances with Disabled People. The oGC team made sure i got the great LC and responsible one, they ensure I got the best experience while I was in GC project. The oGC team in AIESEC UPNVY was so very welcomed and fast response, I had few problems while I had my project, but AIESEC UPNVY team had responsed to my problems and solved it as fast as they can.
