Methodology At Dorea Educational Institute’s Summer school professionally qualified teachers use new and effective techniques to create interesting as well as enjoyable lessons. Teachers also help with the social activities programme: this way a friendly rapport with students is established which ensures that the learning of English continues well beyond the classroom. Classes consist of a careful balance of activities designed to improve grammar and vocabulary while also improving reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Each week a new theme is introduced, for example “Myself and Others”, “Holidays and Travel”, “Sports and health”, “Technology and Science”. All classes use pair and group work to maximize the opportunity to speak and to build teamwork. Various games, stories, videos, music, role-play and projects help to keep the lessons varied and interesting.
Follow up Parents can follow their child progress through weekly online reports from their pupil's teacher. More detailed reports from activity staff follow at the end of the course to provide a complete picture of each pupil's participation.
