Soprano Alexandra Schoeny has gained recognition on both sides of the Atlantic for her “crystalclear voice.” She has appeared on the operatic and concert stages of London, Berlin, Amsterdam, The Hague, and Versailles, among others. Roles include Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Thérèse (Les Mamelles de Tirésias) Miss Lightfoot (Fellow Travelers), Mrs. Julian (Owen Wingrave), Dircé (Medee), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Servilia (La clemenza di Tito), Sofia (Il Signor Bruschino), Marie-Celeste/Duchess Christina (Galileo Galilei), Frasquita (Carmen). Concert appearances include Ein Deutsches Requiem, Mozart’s Requiem, and C minor Mass, Carmina Burana, Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, Pärt’s Stabat Mater, Haydn’s Theresienmesse, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and Mass in B-minor, and Handel’s Messiah. She has appeared in concert with the New European Ensemble, Aldeburgh Festival, Asko|Schönberg Ensemble, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony, Omaha Symphony Orchestra, and the Reno Philharmonic.
