design advocacy

After listening to communities, Dotte Agency and KU architecture students translated their ideas into fitness stations through design & prototyping:

design advocacy

Five new Jersey Creek Fitness Stations will be installed along the Jersey Creek Trail this spring.

design advocacy

Through the Mobile Collaboratory (moCOLAB) and in storefront space a block from City Hall (611 N. 6th Street), Dotte Agency has capacity to collaborate on envisioning park improvements.

design advocacy

In July 29, 2015, the Jersey Creek Trail Team invited community organizations, partners, and civic leaders to share their thoughts and concerns about the Jersey Creek Trail.

design advocacy What we’ve heard:

“There’s no connection between the neighborhoods and the bike trail.”

“[Needs] functioning water fountains.”

“We have rich diversity in culture and language, utilize the input from these groups.” “Get creative about adding trails around businesses.”

“[Include] historical walking trail markers and signage.”

“[An opportunity for] a bike trail accessible to senior citizens in the neighborhood.”

“More seating and a sign with a name.”

“[Needs better] lighting, security, & maintenance.”
