St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre

Jen from Doug Tarry Homes had the pleasure of donating $1,000 to Laura from the St. Thomas Elgin Public Art Centre. Donation supports the Art Centre goal and commitment to encourage and promote the appreciation of the visual arts through a variety of education programs, the preservation of a permanent collection and an ongoing program of exhibitions.

An update from Championship City Boxing, who received the $10,000 donation from Project Give Back

“This email is long overdue!

Just a follow up on the donation DTL made to my boxing club last year.

After receiving the $10,000 donation from project give back we put that money away to save for our new boxing ring, about four months later we finally had enough to make the purchase! Such a big thanks to DTL and the team who voted for us and made it possible! We now have a regulated competition sized ring that we can use to host shows to raise more money for the club.

Planning to host our first show sometime in the new year. See pictures below, I included a picture of 2 of our competitive students and a few word from them.

Also a picture I thought you’d get a kick out of, the one and only Darryl Walker and myself at age 11 as he is preparing me to step in the ring for my first fight. Thanks for reading and thanks for being such great amazing people!”
