Welcome!

Beer Fans rejoice! You’ve made it to the 27th edition of the award-winning COBF in Downtown Fort Collins! Founded in 1989 by Doug Odell (Odell Brewing), Brad Page (CooperSmith’s Pub & Brewery) and the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association (DBA), this iconic showcase of Colorado-brewed beer is one of the five longest-running beer celebrations in the country. After earning the 2015 Governor’s Award for Excellence for Best Event or Festival in Colorado, we look forward to continuing the tradition this year. For starters, we’re bringing back “The Neighborhood,” which highlights Fort Collins breweries and brings you face-to- face with brewers and their beery creations in the grass and shade of Washington Park. And those tiny taster mugs are in the rear-view mirror for good: the 16-oz Govino “go anywhere” glasses are back, affording fest-goers a full pour of their new favorite beer. Of course, we’re also honoring COBF tradition by featuring some of Colorado’s best bands on the main stage, tasty fare from local food vendors, and we’ve re-located Beer School to the grass and shade of Washington Park, just behind (west of) the main stage. We also celebrated the festival weekend with our signature kick-off Friday night specialty tasting affair, The Summit @ COBF, produced in conjunction with the Colorado Brewers’ Guild (If you missed it, start planning for next year!). The best part? The festival is a fundraiser for Downtown Fort Collins, wherein the DBA reinvests revenues back into the community. The DBA is a non-profit organization that receives no operational tax support, so productions such as these provide financial support to ensure that our downtown remains culturally vibrant and a prosperous place to shop, stroll and dine – so, please drink up responsibly this weekend! We hope you enjoy this year’s COBF and thanks for joining us as we raise another toast to the craft beer wonders of Colorado. James Yearling Festival Director

A very special thanks to our vendors, interns, volunteers, brewers, musicians, service providers, and DBA Board of Directors for making this another successful year!
