Getting around is easy with its compact size and easy grid layout. Exploring the city centre on foot is a great idea. From most downtown hotels you are within easy reach of a huge range of shopping, dining and entertainment choices. There is so much to do and such variety it’s no wonder that Glasgow is recognised as the best UK shopping, dining and late night destination outside of London. The city’s attractions are stunning and not at all expensive to visit. Many have free entry while others charge really low entry fees. The best way to see more of the city for less and visit all the top attractions is to buy a ticket on the big red City Sightseeing bus tour. With tickets valid for two days you can hop on/hop off as often as you like. Also try The Subway, Glasgow’s unique underground metro system. Use it to visit the West End or other neighbourhoods easily.
We hope this guide helps you find our top tips and highlights. We want Glasgow to be part of your memories forever.
