BRIDGE ON THE LOGO: CLYDE ARC

The Clyde Arc, also known as the Finnieston Bridge or the 'squinty' bridge, opened in July 2006 and crosses the River Clyde in the city of Glasgow. The bridge design features a spectacular tied arch which forms an instantly recognisable gateway to the city. The bridge takes four lanes of traffic, two of which are dedicated to public transport (buses and taxis) and two for private and commercial traffic. There are also pedestrian and cycle paths.

How to get to Hampden

● Hampden Park is a five minute walk from Mount Florida and King's Park train stations. Trains run from Glasgow Central. Once in the city there are lots of ways to get about but if you are in town for more than one day then one of the best ways to see more of the city for less and sample the top attractions is to buy a ticket on the red, open top City Sightseeing bus tour.

If you plan a day trip out of the city it’s likely that there is a direct fast train or bus service to your destination. Edinburgh, Stirling and the Loch Lomond area are no more than 50 minutes away and easily visited in one day.
