The Grounds The breakwater provides the perfect protection for the beach area and for years ten grandchildren would play and swim there in a very protected area. Floating volleyball nets were set up, diving contests and all sorts of games were played in the protected area. They would also venture out to the floating dock (no longer there) and they would enjoy all that the lake has to offer. On occasion, there would be a swim across Jockey Cove, which was always fun to do or to watch! Also, the marker out in front of the house prevents boats from coming close to the shore line which provides even more privacy. This location benefits from all the lake has to offer expansive views, stunning sunsets, protected beach, protected water way with marker nearby, and an easy boat ride into Wolfeboro.
