This is a school for the teaching of life skills to children and young people with severe and highly complex needs. Each student has a combination of two or more of the following impairments: acute visual impairment, hearing impairment, mobility or cognitive impairment. All the pupils are autistic, they will never be able to lead totally independent lives and each will require lifetime support. building that could promote a real sense of independence for the pupil and a design of a place of safety and ambition that would support the child and free the teacher.

BENTRE BLIND SCHOOL Graduate project

The school design focuses on creating a safe, stimulating environment for students and staff. I set out to eliminate any institutional feel and worked to avoid conventional thinking on school design.

The main idea of the project is all the funtional areas located along the main circulation axis. Every area has different sign for visual impaired people to recognize that space. The building is designed with many unique details and sign to support visual impaired people. Some of common signs are sound RI ZDWHU à RZ VRXQG IURP WKH WUHH WKH smell of plant, the surface of material, the VWUHQJWK RI ZLQG WKH UHà HFWLRQ RI VRXQG With help from those sign and unique architecture’s detail design, visual impaired people now can live, study, play sport like normal people

How normal people see

The interior of the classroom is designed with many contrast color couples. Contrast will help visual impaired student recognize stuff in class. Sensory materials are used to enhance sensitivity . Class room must be quiet and not have echo sound VR FDUSHW LV XVHG RQ WKH à RRU and acoustic ceiling above. Glare make visual impaired people’s eyes uncomfotable so perforated panels are used on the facade. Sharpen edges ( wall edge, furniture edge) are not allowed in classroom because of safety reason.

HHOUSE 08 /2018 - 01/2019 Team design: Mr. Chief architect and me.

I participated in this project from basic design stage. Mr. Chief architect and i developed his first idea about this house. A long straight stair was located among the side to create more space for ground floor. Floor deviation option was chose for more space. A big void in middle of the house can give more extra light and improve ventilation of the house. I also presented drawing 2D, 3D rendering.

832HOUSE 09 /2018 - 11/2019 Team design: Mr. Chief architect, me and 1colleague.

This is an interior design project. The house’s interior style is modernist. Wood is chose as the main material of the house’s interior. The combination of wood and white background will bring warming air, relax and a little bit luxury to the interior. In this project, my team and i developed idea together. I presented architecture, tecnical and all furniture drawing. My colleague and i rendered 3D model.




PL COFFEE 11 /2018 - 04/2019 Team design: Mr. Chief architect,me and 1 colleague.

We design a coffee shop base on structure frame which’s built before. Glass is used as much as we can to increase view from inside the building. Perforated panels were used as sunshade on exterior. Double skin facade will help reduce building’s energy cost. The interior is mix of tropical and industrial style. Coffee shop in ground floor and third floor. Second floor is for office. I followed this project from concept design to contruction. I produced drawing, 3D rendering. And there are 2 months i worked as a site supervisor.

I joined in the project in interior design stage. The idea is combine of two styles, modern mix with a little bit classic. We bring the hexagon shape of the architecture in to the interior. Furniture is designed and produced by us

We design interior for this house. It’s classic style. The toilet, kitchen and stair of the previous design is not suitable so we have to relocate them before get in the interior design. Though the house is designed in classic style, we try to bring a modern air into it. Marble and natural wood are two main materials in the house.

CG HOTEL 02 /2019 - 04/2019 Team design: Mr. Chief architect and me

We design 14 rooms hotel. This hotel is a part of an existing one. In this project, i take part in from the concept design stage. The lobby and lounge on the ground floor are totally open. The idea is create an open space connect with the landscape between two hotel. Passenger can go in the older one, walking through the garden and naturally get in the new lobby. 2D drawing & 3D rendering also prensented by me.

HCMUC HALL 04 /2019 Team design: Mr. Chief architect and me

This is a quick interior design and contructionproject. The school’s principal want to combine 2 old office rooms together and change it’s function to a hall. Wood display blocks will be reused so we have to make room for them. Acoustic wood panels on the wall and wood floor will make the room look more formal.

Fmedia is an IT company. They want we design the office in neoclassical style. There are 5 areas in this office, president room, stateroom, working room, kitchen and toilet. Although the office’s style is neoclassical but we try to bring some modern detail to it.
