TEEN & ADULT HIP HOP DANCE You’re never too old to dance! If you love to dance, then this hip hop session is for you! Hip Hop Dance is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Class will take place outside in the Play Prints area. The class utilizes upbeat music from various genres, in addition to the latest hip hop hits. If you really want to learn how to do the latest dances moves, this class is definitely for you. In order to participate, registrants must have completed first grade by the start of the program. Class will take place outside in the Play Prints area. "For Teens, Built by Teens,” that’s how we roll!

Durham Parks and Recreation offers free, drop-in programming and activities from 3 p.m.-7p.m. Monday-Friday for all teens between the ages of 13 and 18 years old.

From gardening, video game tournaments, and indoor hockey to park clean-ups, crafts and job readiness, we are providing a place for the teens in our community to have fun, hang out, and be active!
