We Are the Proven Choice for All Your Dental Implant Solutions™
From Dr. Atcha Dear Friends, The holiday season is approaching us fast and ’tis the season to smile, laugh and enjoy those favorite foods we like to share with our loved ones. Here at the Center it has been non-stop! So many of our patients are getting their mouths healthy and getting teeth so they can eat their favorite foods for the holidays, smile and laugh and enjoy all the festivities as they didn’t before with their condition. With their new teeth they will be enjoying the delicious Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner without being in pain, suffering and embarrassment. They will enjoy the turkey and ham and expand their meals further than mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. In the hustle and
bustle of Christmas, many people worry about gifts for their relatives, friends and co-workers, but what about the best gift they can give to themselves? The answer is TEETH! Your new teeth will give you chewing function to enjoy all the foods of the holidays and the self-esteem to smile for those pictures that you normally would avoid. I want all of you to be able to enjoy the holidays like many of our patients and therefore, I am offering an incredible holiday incentive of $1,000 off toward your care! We look forward to helping you with your dental needs, wants and desires. Our team wishes you a very happy holiday season! Just remember: NO ONE SHOULD DIE WITH THEIR TEETH IN A GLASS. SAY NO TO DENTURES! To your smile, Dr. Ivan Atcha
Testimonial: “Teeth-in-a-Day” Patient “I came in to see Dr. Atcha because I was 51 years old and had neglected my teeth I needed help. I had a full mouth restoration with implants; all my bad teeth were removed and replaced. Now, I love my new teeth and it gets better every day. It’s been a few weeks since I had them put in. “While I was healing I had to wear full upper and lower dentures, and there is NO COMPARISON for my new teeth vs. the dentures. The implants are definitely the way to go. I really had a struggle with the dentures but I am really happy with what I have now. Also, my experience here with Dr. Atcha and the team has all been so good. “Everyone is very nice to me, very patient with me, very helpful and very professional. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Atcha and his staff. I feel that Dr. Atcha is very compassionate, a good listener and very professional. I believe this is the way to go, and I would definitely recommend it!” Brian Z “I had my lower teeth taken out and had implants placed with sedation. I took the medication the night before, the morning of the surgery and came in went to sleep and when I woke up it was all done. I just love my new teeth, and I have a mouth full of teeth that are not movable, because my partial before moved around a lot. I can smile for real now. It feels fantastic as I can even sing and not have to worry about my teeth moving. Melvin used to tell me that I would hold my mouth a certain way to cover up my teeth even though I never knew I did that. So now I need to learn how not to do that anymore. “If you have been holding back no matter how long it’s been, go for it. Everyone at Dr. Atcha’s office are so nice and they make you feel so comfortable. They are so professional, kind and careful with your mouth. The first visit we had, they wanted to take a picture of me with my teeth out and I was like, oh no — no one ever sees me without my teeth. Nobody made me feel bad about it. I am so happy with my new teeth. If you want new teeth and you want people to care about you and your teeth go for it. Come to Dr. Atcha’s office.” Mrs. Yancey “I had my top teeth removed under sedation. They put me to sleep, I woke up and they were gone. I came back the next day, had my fixed teeth put in and I have been happy ever since. I love my new teeth. All my teeth used to be caps or root canals and the like. They used to be so cumbersome and worrisome. I love speaking in front of people now. I’m comfortable talking to someone straight in the eye and don’t have to look away or cover my mouth up with my hand. If you are thinking of getting your treatment done, get it done. You will not be sorry. Dr. Atcha and his staff do excellent work here. They are very professional and you are treated with care.” Mr. Yancey
Team Goings-On Jenn – We are getting ready for our godson’s first holiday season. He is trying to walk already, and Christmas time should be a blast watching him rip all his gifts apart. We are also looking forward to all the time with our families, we both have huge families and getting to see everyone is great — I love the holiday season. Here at the office we are getting ready for the end of year with another patient lecture, and our own annual holiday party for the staff. Judi – My favorite time of year has come! The leaves have fallen, the air is crisp (well, should be crisp) and the calendar is getting busier and busier. Hayden and Maddie are looking forward to our family reunion next month so they can play with all of their extended cousins and see their grandparents. Here at the Center our schedule is getting busier and busier as our patients are wanting beautiful smiles for the holiday. Have a safe and wonderful holiday season! Frances – I cannot believe it’s already November! The holidays are coming and life seems busier than ever. At the Center, we are implementing all the new things we learned at our conference in Dallas last month to continue improving the great care we provide to our patients. Outside of work, I have been very busy kicking the wedding planning into high gear! Only 11 months left until the big day, and my “To Do List” seems neverending!
Do I Have Enough Jaw Bone for Dental Implants? This is something that we educate our patients about every day here at the Center. We have people come in that have been to many places to see other dentists who have told them that they are not a candidate for dental implants because they do not have enough bone. We also have patients that have never been told that when they are missing all of their teeth, or even just one tooth, they are ALWAYS losing jaw bone in that area. You can imagine your denture being like a cast on your arm, when you have the cast removed your arm is smaller. This is a similar situation that patients with missing teeth suffer from, and often do not even know it is a problem. To answer the question: “Do I have enough bone for dental implants?” Yes! The majority of our patients do have enough jawbone to support dental implants! Here at the Center we are lucky enough to have a dentist that is highly trained in all avenues of dental implants and Dr. Atcha is able to give someone with even the smallest amount of bone a treatment option that gives them back their missing teeth. We provide more than just the traditional “old school” treatment your grandma’s dentist provided. We change lives, and give people back something they are missing by using 21st century dentistry.
Our One-Day Free Seminar on Dental Implants to the Public of Lake County Went Great! More than 20 people attended the event and we were able to answer all of their implant questions and concerns. Shown below (left) is Dr. Atcha speaking to the public who attended the seminar. The attendees came unsure of their options and were able to leave the seminar knowing more about their options.
Due to high demand we will be hosting another seminar for the public on December 17, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Express in Valparaiso, Indiana. Call us at (219) 227-5084 to reserve your spot as space is limited!
Dr. Atcha and Team Head to Dallas Last month, Dr. Atcha and his team flew down to Dallas, Texas, to spend the weekend with some of the best dental minds in the world. We worked with a team of doctors from all over the US, Canada, Spain, Russia and England. We discussed unique and new ways to treat our patients and help them get their care done. We brought back with us insight as to what our patients need, and how we can help them through their care; because getting a new set of teeth can be a very emotional and life-changing situation.

FYI About Corporate Franchise Dental Implant Centers That Are Popping Up and Buyers Beware! We are an all-in-one facility with Dr. Atcha. ONE doctor provide your anesthesia care, implant care and teeth care with our in-house lab for your convience. We are a full service dental practice that will provide you with a lifetime of followup care vs. other centers that will send you off to dentists that have no knowledge of advanced implant care and no relationship with you. We have a personalized approach to our patients. Our patients are like our family members vs. being treated like a number at other corporate franchise dental implant centers as Dr. Atcha gives all his patients his cell phone number should they have any questions or concerns after their care. Dr. Atcha will be the ONE AND ONLY doctor providing your care vs. having 3 to 4 doctors involved like in other centers that will only confuse the patient and interrupt care where there is a huge turnover of doctors in these corporate-owned centers. Other centers will confuse you by marketing that says they have 6 locations where in reality they have one main
Multi-tasking: More Reasons to Do One Thing at a Time Very Well The evidence is piling up. Texting while driving — as bad as or even worse than drunk driving. Talking on even a hands-free headset with your cell phone in the car — very bad as reflexes are delayed. Trying to do multiple tasks at your office all at the same time — extremely bad. In fact, the latest study out of Stanford shows that not only do you become worse at the tasks you are attempting to multi-task, but it ultimately results in that you become less effective at even the single tasks. In other words, it dumbs down the whole system. Needless to say, you won’t find your doctor attempting to multi-task with procedural treatment of multiple patients at the same time!
location and rest of the locations are what are called consultation centers. They inconvenience the patients by having them do surgeries in their downtown Chicago facility only. We provide limo and hotel service for our patients as we feel our patients are special from the time they call to make their consultation to the time they are done with their care to the lifetime followup care we provide. Other doctors say they can do the all-on-4, but most of these centers are not trained under Dr. Paulo Malo (the pioneer of the All-on-4 method) like Dr. Atcha is in his facility in Lisbon, Portugal and in New Jersey. These centers are quoting patients $40 to 60K for their full mouth dental implant care. A person answering the phone who is not board certified and trained cannot diagnose this kind of thing. Once patients come in for the consult, their jaw bone quality can be examined (along with other factors). Then the doctor and staff can formulate a customized care and fee for the patient vs. a cookie cutter formula like other dental implant centers.
Dr. Atcha taught a second lecture for local dentists in the Greater Chicago Area that were interested in learning more about the All-on-4™ technique.
