Windsor DREAM Monthly Snapshot October 2012 Program Happenings and Highlights • Windsor co-chairs and DREAM staff held an information session at Union Square to recruit new kids for DREAM. Three children have joined and more are expected. • Mentors from all three DREAM programs recruited 27 new mentors to join Dartmouth DREAM. They will begin mentoring in the beginning of January. • Mentors participated in the Alumni Appeal Phone-a-thon where they called former mentors updating them on DREAM Local Programs. Mentees went to Dartmouth College two Fridays in October. Windsor mentoring pairs spent two Fridays doing one-one activities, including soccer on the green, kickball, scrapbooking, bored games, and cookie baking. Mentors went to Windsor on October 18 to spend Friday programming in the community. There was no DREAM on October 26 due to Dartmouth’s Homecoming weekend.
