Elm Street DREAM Monthly Snapshot January 2013 Program Happenings and Highlights • Mentors and youth returned from a relaxing winter break and are looking forward to another semester of DREAM. • DREAM staff finished collecting forms and talking with families about Winter Adventure Camp (WAC), which will take place over several weekends in February. • DREAM collaborated with the Catamount Trails Association to bring a day of cross-country skiing to Elm Street mentors and mentees. • Unfortunately, cold temperatures meant that day WAC, which was planned for January 26th, was postponed until February 9th or 16th. The program started off the semester with a Friday in the Elm Street community. Mentors had the opportunity to meet their mentees’ families and see their homes. Mentors and mentees enjoyed a day of cross-country skiing in the Intervale, which was hosted by the Catamount Trails Association.
