Northwoods DREAM Monthly Snapshot February 2014 Program Happenings and Highlights • DREAM teens gathered at Bolton Valley for an exciting afternoon of cross-country skiing for WAC (Winter Adventure Camp) at the beginning of the month. The group of 40 teens and mentors played sharks and minnows, learned how to fall and stand up on their skis, and everyone shared a great day at the mountain! • Dartmouth DREAM’s Local Programs collaborated to host a very successful fundraiser they called the ‘Experience Auction,’ selling things like an afternoon of skating lessons, gift cards to local restaurants, and candy tasting with a co-chair! All together they raised over $700 dollars! Participants Mentees

Weekly Programming with Children • Northwoods held three Fridays this month, missing one afternoon because of a snowstorm. • Activities included cookie baking and decorating and one-on-one activities like nail painting with the teen girls, playing pool, and hanging out in the student center on campus.
