LES BOHÉMIENS is an Italian fashion house founded in 2013 by Francesco De Falco and Pasquale Vittorio D’ Avino. Its peculiarity regards a strong declination towards arts, a distinct attention to the cultural avant-gardes and its multidisciplinary approach to other art forms, such as music, cinema, photography and design. For our company it is very important to persevere the coherence between the ethics on which our responsibility has founded on, the iconographic research on which our projects are based and the social and cultural teaching we would like to convey through our collections. The same ethical values implied

in our project are at the bottom of the manufacturing process of our garments, completely made in Italy by artisans from Campania. In the previous trade season FW 17/18, we have already undertaken a charity project whose aim is to support some humanitarian missions of the NGO “EMERGENCY”. In this direction, our first project has produced a Capsule Collection of Streetwear: “LES BOHÉMIENS FOR EMERGENCY IN THE NAME OF LOVE”, whose sale in the best multibrand store all over the world has given us the opportunity to destine a part of the proceeds to the NGO.

For the next season we have made a collection that will be dedicated to those children who are victims of child labour exploitation . Through this project, we are determined to pay attention on unrestrained phenomenon in the “Fast Fashion” industry. In this way we are inspiring people sensibility towards more ethical purchase choices that consider the strength and consequences in terms of human sacrifice of the “cost of saving money”. In order to offer a real contribution to the fight against child labour exploitation and to spread our message of denunciation we have enlisted to the project “Child-Friendly Initiative”, and we will destine a part of the proceeds of the sales to UNICEF

In our upcoming season, we have developed a collection that confronts child labour – an important issue that is ever present in the fashion industry. We want to bring the issue to the public’s attention encourage slow consumption a more ethical and conscious approach. We highlight what are the real costs that a fashion collection incurs before it goes to market during each of it’s production processes. We have teamed up with UNICEF in order to create The True Cost SS18 collection, and part of our profits will be donated to their renowned campaign: Child Protection From Violence, Exploitation and Abuse.
