1. Please share with us your ethnicity, I am dying to ask!

Contrary to popular belief, I am black. People look at my hair and then that's usually always the first question I get. 2. When did you feel you started to develop your sense of style?

I believe that ones sense of style is/ or should be constantly evolving as we are always growing as people and changing our minds. I've always been a little to the left in comparison to my peers as far as fashion and style. High school was the experimental phase, college was getting comfortable with me, and I would say I'm in the refinement stage now. 3. Do you follow designers and blogs to keep up trends or do you just do you own thing?

I definitely do my own thing. I have my influences here and there & check out a couple blogs but for the most part I take stuff and run with it. Trends are cool but I’ll be over a trend in a second. I take trends and put my own spin on them. That’s how you put YOU into the look you’re wearing

while avoiding the monotony of the ever fading trendy crowd. 4. So I know you love a good deal and that you shop at thrifts here, which one is your absolute favorite and why?

To tell you the truth, thrifting can be frustrating at times. Especially when the store isn’t necessarily in any kind of order and you don’t feel like digging through the packed racks. Thrifting is a kind of hit or miss situation so I can’t say that I have an absolute FAVE but Hong Kong tickles my fancy. 5. On the flip side you can't always find everything your looking for at thrifts. Where else do you find great clothes?

ANYWHERE. It’s amazing how people assume you have money based on the way you dress but as quiet as it’s kept, I rarely buy full price. SALE & CLEARANCE is KEY!!! My build is kinda small so I like 2 sneak over to the kids isle sometimes too, shhhh!!! Shirt: Polo Jeans: Express Shoes: Aldo

1. What was your first dream occupation when you were growing up? Growing up I always wanted to be a Pediatrician. Little did I know my mind would change so much. 2. Do you want to stay in NC after graduation from UNCC? No way!! I'm thinking about moving to Los Angles as soon as next year. I'm transferring out of UNCC! 3. Who is your inspiration? I love Twiggy, Iman, Tyra of course, but I admire Chanel Iman more than anyone else. I love her work and I feel like I can relate to her much more because of our similarities in age, race and things of the nature. She seems very humble. 4. Your currently a signed model with Carolina Talent what are your goals with modeling? I really enjoy modeling. I LOVE the camera. But the good thing about CT is I can explore other fields like acting. I have fallen in love with the art of theater. I am only 5"5' so i'm keeping my options open. I would love to do more commercial/lifestyle modeling with CT. 5. What is ONE thing you wish you could change about yourself? I'm a very kind person and can be sensitive. Of course, being in the industry you have to be tough. So i'm in the process of 'toughing up' [laugh out loud]. 6. Who is your favorite designer? Alexander Wang and Balmain are two designers which clothes I would wear on a daily. But I can not forget the late Alexander McQueen and his sassy fashionable shoes.
