BEKANA REHABILITATION CENTER The project site for Berkana consisted of a rooftop therapy garden and an interior courtyard for attending patients to recieve treatment in a natural healing environment. I chose a design that would be accessible to all the patients despite their state of mobility. The rooftop garden is open, shady and gentle on the senses for patients that have suffered brain injuries. I found it important that patients have easy access to planter beds that allowed them to work in the soil and escape the indoors by feeling condrew button nected to nature.

DENVER ART MUSEUM PLAZA A large red serpent rises from beneath the city. A sculptural mention of the systems we rely upon and know are so unaware of as we walk about our lives. From time to time we see the serpents breath rising as steam from a grate. We hear his bellows and the screeching of his metal scales against tunnel walls as the subway goes by underfoot.
