Academic Performance Across the Drexel School System

Start of Year Report, 2016-2017 | Curriculum Area of Focus: Mathematics

Content Area of Focus: Math

History: When the Drexel School System was initiated in 2013, Math was identified as the primary of focus for academic rigor. Blended Learning was integrated across the grade levels and new curriculum adoptions and adaptive technology were selected. The fidelity of these integrations was assessed in the 2015-2016 school year in concert with the adoption of the Renaissance STAR Assessment.

Results: The Drexel School System is proud to open the 2016-2017 school year with system average in math in the top 17% in the nation. Across the entire system, over 1/3 of all students are at/above the 90th percentile in math and fewer than 12% of students test below the 50th percentile, with less than 4% of the entire student population below the 25thpercentile.
