SIZE: 360 m2
Aim of competition was to design a floating pavilion that serves as a stage for Lent Festival of Maribor city and transforms into a gathering and relaxation spot for the public.
The hollow design of pavilion offers a stunning view of the city skyline from the opposite side. It has two-story stage, allowing performance of both singing and dancing simultaneously and staircase is designed to be integral part of structure. Floor platform is supported by structural frame of timber planks which contains plastic drums to float over water bodies.
