MARCH 2010
NEWSLETTER
LAUNCH PARTY booze. bumper cars. On March 5th, Crisp denim threw launch party to celebrate the opening of our flagship store on Walton street. It was a great time. The fiesta was held at 1880 West Fullerton, a great place called whirlyball. This new sport is the most fun you can have in a bumper car. It’s a combination of jai alai and basketball while driving a bumper car. Needless to say it got pretty competitive.
The party also featured an open bar and pizza. Even our owner Ben Epstein made it out and gave a toast that would rival FDR. It set the tone for a great night of cheers, beers and bumper cars with the Crisp family. Even pro snowboarder Mason Aguirre made it out to support our Movement. We are planning on having another party very soon. Stay posted and stay chill.
CRISPY
GREENS
crisp goes green The world of denim is changing right before our eyes and as a fairly new comapny we want start off on the right foot. As the denim world takes a turn toward the concern of the enviroment Crisp wants to support this movement. Therefore we have assembled a “green team” of sorts to help the line become enviromentally friendly. Things like recycled textiles for pockets
and recycled metal accents are being researched by the green team. Also looking for an enviromentally friendly manufactuerer may be in the works. As you all know if there’s one thing for sure about the denim market it is that standing out from the crowd is a great challenge. Making the comapny green is a step in the right direction in doing that exactly.
big wig letter OWNER BEN EPSTEIN
My beloved Employees, Hey guys I wanted to get a letter in this months newsletter to tell you guys about some new things that have been going down at Crisp denim Comapany. As you know we are a fairly new company and the success of this company
suprises me on a daily basis. I had recently taken a business trip to Miami, Florida and I couldn’t help but notice tons of people sporting our products. I guess the crisp word has been spreading like a wildfire. To keep this fire going we have been working on some brand new styles and expanding our wash selection. Also we have been working on some t-shirt designs for Crisp. I couldn’t be happier with the way this company has taken off running and it is all due to all of you working so hard to promote it. Keep working hard and stay chill. I will try to write a letter every month to let you all know what is going on with the company. Sincerely,
Ben Epstein
HEAD LOOKING Awhat’ s next for crisp? As a new company we are always looking for new opportunities to expand our customer base and our wallets. As you all know, we just opened our flagship store in Chicago, IL. The success of that store has impressed us so much that we are looking for a second building to open our second flagship store somewhere in the Los Angeles area. Opening a store in LA will spread the crisp blanket across the country and hopefully increase interest in this beautiful and young company. We have been researching the area and will keep you all posted if anything happens. These are two potential buildings.
