May 2010 Universitie’ Internationale en Haiti (UIH) was born, UIH Steering
Committee was formed by Haitian/American leaders in business, education, government and ministry
Key Dates July 2010 Haitian government donated 25 acres in Milot (CapHaitien), Haiti for UIH Border surrounding donated land’s perimeter is surveyed September 2010 Engineering Ministries International (eMi) is recruited to develop master plan for UIH October 2010 UIH Steering Committee & eMi meet in Haiti to program and develop master plan and design for phase 1 buildings

UIH Student Faculty Requirements Students from all faith backgrounds, including nonbelievers are welcome to enroll at UIH. Core Faculty: Part time or full time, expected to be long-term members of the UIH community. They agree fully to the vision and values of UIH Adjunct/Visiting Faculty: May or may not be associated with UIH on a long-term basis. May include: foreign volunteers who teach for a semester or year at a time. They must agree not to contravene the vision and values of UIH in their work with the university, they are not required to personally embrace the entire vision and values of UIH
