PREMIER SPONSOR OF THE 2018/2019 AWARDS

Introduction from the President Welcome to the

Drogheda Business Excellence Awards 2018 I am delighted to introduce to you this year’s Business Excellence Awards brought to you by the Drogheda & District Chamber.

to have that recognised for you and your team by entering into this year’s Business Excellence Awards.

The Business Excellence Awards are one of the highlight events of the Year for both the Chamber and for local Business where business excellence is recognised, rewarded and celebrated. Over recent years the awards have been growing in popularity, size and in celebratory spirit and this year will be no different with the newly revamped process. This will be bigger and better than before.

But time is short so decide to enter now and read on to see what category or categories you’re eligible to enter. You can also nominate other businesses or organisations in the area – perhaps clients/customers or suppliers – who like your enterprise are committed to delivering business excellence and you believe help to ‘Elevate Drogheda’.

It’s an exciting time. Drogheda and District is changing and growing rapidly, presenting challenges and opportunities for the local business community. With its strategic location, excellent infrastructure, talented people and optimism for a great future, Drogheda is recognised as one of ten key growth centres nationwide – and as hosts to Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2018, we’ve recently demonstrated just how well we can celebrate great community and cultural events too.

2

The local business community plays a critical role in that success against a backdrop of an ever changing business and economic landscape. Your organisation and your team – whether large, medium or small in size – through passion, perseverance and professionalism helps raise Drogheda’s reputation locally, nationally and globally and creates great career and employment opportunities. Now is the opportunity
