THE 10th Anniversary Central Reds Droughtmaster Bull Sale will be held at the Emerald Saleyards on Monday the 27th of September commencing at 10:00am. The Central Reds Bull Sale team are excited to announce 3 new vendors to the 2021 sale. Tomas Flohr from Red River Stud (Nebo), Sean & Evonne Barrett from Konjuli Stud (Woolooga) and Rob & Kirstie Orphant from Seymour Stud (Patterson) will join existing vendors; Mostyndale, Kenlogan, Vale View and Strathfield 9JE in putting together a quality, genetically diverse line up of 60 bulls for the 2021 Sale. This year we also welcome Dane Pearce and the Nutrien team as our sole selling agent and are pleased to announce that online bidding will be available via Chris Norris and his Elite Livestock platform. All bulls are offered with an Accredited Cattle Vet bull soundness evaluation, semen test and structural assessment prior to the sale. A supplementary sheet will be available on sale day providing semen test results, scrotal circumference, saleyard weight, eye muscle area, IMF scans and poll gene test results. All bulls are pre-treated for ticks. Bulls will be available for inspection at the Emerald Saleyards from 4pm on Sunday, September 26. The BullZeye sale held each October offers bulls from some of the industry’s leading studs. In the past year vendor successes have been verified again with top prices in sale rings and several commercial championships awards. Each year the sale’s reputation grows as a reliable source of leading Droughtmaster genetics. The line-up of sires are right where you want them…. 760kg’s, 22mth’s, 131 EMA (past averages), and this year’s draft will be no different. The sup sheet on the 90 plus sires this year will include the fat scans and last 100-day weight gain results for a more informed choice. There is plenty of value for those chasing a few, and the odd young stud sire if you’re looking to the solid genes on offer. The big plus when you’re buying from BullZeye is the female lines that the bulls are drawn from. Keeping consistent, fertile and functional cowherds are key central breeding objectives. With decades of selection from cattlemen and women with commercial herds, the important criteria for breeding beef industry focused sires are backed with real knowledge. The Capella undercover arena will again accommodate the sale on Friday 15th October.
