1. Round, steel, latch grip burs for removal of decay

2. Medium grit diamond burs for preparation of facial and axial walls with cylinder of choice: Modified bevel, Round end taper, or Flat end cylinder, medium grit.

3. Prepare palatal surface reduction incisally if required .

4. Ensure adequate palatal reduction for occlusion with wheel.

5. Repeat 2, 3 ,4 with FINE grit diamonds for smooth finish and removal of enamel prisms and crisper margins.
