Implants A dental implant can be used to restore a single tooth or an entire set of teeth. Dental implants involve the placement of a surgical grade titanium post directly into the jawbone by one of Dr. Klein’s trusted specialists. As the bone bonds to the post, it forms a secure foundation for the attachment of a dental prosthetic (denture) that is custom created for you. While typical dentures shift and require the use of denture adhesives to keep them in place, implants fit solidly, reducing the problems associated with traditional dentures, such as gum sores and difficulty speaking and chewing. Implants are sometimes used instead of bridges to maintain the integrity of the teeth on either side of the gap.

Dentures A proper fitting denture is very important. A good fit ensures that your dentures will allow you to retain much of your mouth’s function, which is important for maintaining natural muscle tone in your face and jaw. Dentures will keep you looking and feeling healthy, and will help you retain a natural lifestyle. A natural looking smile and the best possible fit are two of the primary goals Dr. Klein will achieve if you need dentures to restore your smile.

Partial Dentures A partial denture will provide you with a natural-looking way to restore your smile to its original brilliance. You will be pleased with how well your new partial denture restores the gaps in your smile due to your missing teeth – those that could not be corrected by a bridge. Your partial denture will be removable and made from a synthetic material supported by lightweight metal that mimics your gum tissue and teeth to give you a beautiful new smile. The partial denture will preserve your bone structure as well as the integrity of your existing teeth by preventing them from shifting and tilting in towards the gaps created by your missing teeth.

Crowns You can erase years of wear and tear with crowns. Sometimes called “caps,” crowns are customized for you, covering broken, cracked, or discolored teeth. Available in gold or porcelain, crowns are a durable, strong, long-lasting method of enhancing both the look and functionality of your smile. After some preparation of the tooth or teeth that will receive the crown(s), Dr. Klein will position a custom-milled, lifelike gold or porcelain crown over your damaged tooth, restoring and rejuvenating your oral health.

Bridges Sometimes gum disease, injury, decay or simply wear results in the loss of a tooth. A large gap in your smile can create significant problems for your dental health if it isn’t corrected. A dental bridge “bridges the gap” in your smile. Dr. Klein will create a natural looking, functional bridge to correct your smile, restore your bite and alleviate your discomfort. A bridge is a semi-permanent dental restoration, meaning it can only be removed by a dentist, so you can rest assured that your bridge will be a lasting restoration to your oral health.

Invisalign™ The days of unsightly metal braces with uncomfortable brackets and wires are long passed. Now, you can discreetly and gently straighten crooked teeth with Invisalign,™ an FDA-approved tooth straightening system that uses clear, removable aligners to gradually shift the position of each tooth. The Invisalign™ process starts by using 3D computer imaging to map your treatment plan, allowing you to see what your teeth will look like after completing treatment. Using the imaging, Dr. Klein then creates a series of custom-molded aligners to fit over your existing teeth. You’ll progress to wearing the next set in the series every two weeks, gently bringing crooked teeth into alignment over time. Average treatment times range from 9 to 15 months, but the best part is that most people will never notice a thing!
