DAY 1: The wonderful sights of Canada await us as we board our motorcoach for a journey across the Carolinas and into the Mountaineer State of West Virginia. Our home tonight is in Beckley with a Welcome Dinner. (D) DAY 2: WARTHER MUSUEM - Leaving the mountains of West Virginia, we cross the Ohio River and enter the rolling hills and farms of Ohio. Lunch is a treat at the Dutch Valley Restaurant with a meal of local foods. In Dover, we visit the Warther Museum, where Master Carver Ernest Warther presents a display of hand-carved wonders. Using only his knife, file, and native ingenuity, he has carved the history of steam locomotives, ivory collections of Great Events in American History, and being a great admirer of Abraham Lincoln, at the age of 80 carved an 8 foot ebony and ivory replica of the Lincoln Funeral Train. You will have a chance to stroll through the Swiss-style flower gardens and visit Mrs. Warther’s Button House, a collection of 73,000 buttons arranged in beautiful designs. Overnight in the Amish Country. (B,L) DAY 3: NIAGARA FALLS - On we travel into western New York, passing Buffalo and we make our way to the Canadian border. Later we cross the Rainbow Bridge into Canada and Niagara Falls for a 2 night stay. (B) Continued
