What is Web 2.0?

Web 2.0 is not a specific software or some registered trademark of Microsoft or Google, but a word describing a collection of approaches to using the Internet in new and innovative ways.

Remember Web 2.0 is an attitude; it’s about both taking ownership and sharing. The best way to share is to aggregate or come together. Imagine the entire school showcasing their learning at one site. Teachers could inspire through shared class projects; students could expand their audience; parents could feel closer to the learning process; and principals could bask in the glow of good public relations.
