WAXHAW FARMERS MARKET

Join us at the Waxhaw Farmers Market (WFM) each Saturday at our spacious, two-acre location. Located one mile from downtown Waxhaw, at 27290 Waxhaw Parkway, our site offers easy parking, spacious walkways, and opportunity for us to grow. Hours are 9am-12pm. We are farmers and artisan vendors proudly growing and making all our products locally. We come to the market to provide you fresh-from-the-farm goodness and unique crafting of hand-made foods and specialty items. Make Saturday morning your weekly destination to meet family and friends for a cup of coffee or tea and numerous homemade breakfast items and baked goods. Enjoy seasonal children’s activities and local music as you spend time together relaxing on a bench or at a picnic table. WFM’s most important feature is our dedicated growers. Every week they bring healthy, farm-fresh, locally grown items - often picked 24 hours prior to coming to Market Day! Our local farmers include: vegetables, fruit, meat, seafood, eggs, mushrooms, fresh flowers and plants. Our ‘straight-from-the-farm to your table’ farmers give our customers an opportunity to know where your food comes from and how it is grown. Come back to local, meet our growers, and begin your weekly grocery shopping with quality fresh food.

WFM also offers a diverse array of specialty products. Our local vendors create hand-made products such as personal care items, jams and jellies, oat-based products, soaps, candles, wood items, and more. New this year, on the first Saturday of the month, artisans will join the market to share quality homemade items to showcase our talented community. Our mission is to provide healthy, fresh, local food, foster direct relationships with farmers and customers, and to enhance quality of life in our local area by providing a common gathering location. Established in 2001, this our 19th year serving the community with a year-round market from April through December. We also offer a winter market, which is open every other Saturday from 10am-12pm.
