With more than 100 locally owned businesses in Downtown Waxhaw, there are plenty of ways to support local!
Senior Citizens Christmas Party is a town-sponsored party held the first Friday in December. Waxhaw senior citizens are invited to enjoy a Christmas dinner with entertainment and Christmas cheer, courtesy of several Waxhaw area restaurants. The Parkwood JROTC, the Union County Composite Squadron (Cival Air Patrol), along with the Town of Waxhaw are proud sponsors of this annual nationwide event. You are invited to be a part of this remembrance by joining us for a commemorative ceremony and the laying of wreaths on local veterans’ gravesites.
