Technical Info
RGB Colour Model Red, green, and blue are the primary colours of light. Added together in various combinations and amounts they can theoretically produce all possible colours, hence the term additive colour. Digital cameras and most scanners also use an RGB colour model for recording digital image data.
CMYK Colour Model Cyan, magenta and yellow are the primary subtractive colours. It is the colour model used for creating inks (for colour printing process) to produce newspapers, magazines, books etc.
In theory the 3 colours should form black when mixed in equal proportions. But in practice they form a muddy brown, for this reason black ink K is added.
