Our team of designers use Sketch-Up as the primary tool for creating clientdriven solutions for a variety of workspaces. While it may not be the most typical form of 3D-modeling software, we utilize Sketch-Up for three reasons: • Speed. Short rendering times are beneficial when establishing budgets and making revisions on a tight deadline. • Pre-engineering. The accuracy with which designs are rendered means that all of our projects are engineer-ready. Individual components are mocked up to a degree of technical detail that ensures a smooth fabrication and assembly process. • Client input. From a visual stand-point, Sketch-Up allows the designer freedom to play with the design in a way that is not possible with traditional design software. It also allows the client the freedom to test different options, enabling a more collaborative approach between designer and client.
