LOCATION

Main Street for the Arts provides an eastern gateway to the downtown of Muncie, Indiana. The innovative design implements the idea of a naked street, which is a street with no curbs or sidewalks, rather creating a single surface that allows pedestrians and vehicles to coexist.

URBAN REGENERATION LONDON, ENGLAND LOCATION SPRING 2010 DATE STUDENT TYPE URBAN PLAZA DESIGN

This project represents the capstone of my study abroad program in London, England. It consists of two parts, a thorough analysis of ten landscape projects throughout London, in turn inspiring the design of a derelict space in a busy minority neighborhood. With a tremendous amount of potential this urban regeneration project could transform the site and the surrounding development.

Idar-Oberstein Spring of 2010 pleasantly greeted me with a study abroad program based in London, England. Between an entire semester abroad and classes three days a week I was not only able to understand British life and culture but had the opportunity to travel to multiple European countries. This program merely opened the door for exploration beyond the states.
