I In today’s society, the rapid development of modern science and technology not only promotes the progress of medical technology, equipment, means and the improvement of people’s demand for life quality but also result in higher demand from people on quality and efficiency of medical treatments. The challenge was to gain an in-depth understanding of the patient’s need for a design requirement and create well-interior design outcome through different colours and materials for reducing the level of patient anxiety.

To achieve the principle of the healing garden and the idea of people-oriented. The space of function, circulation and relationship has considered and created to be a flexible interior space. Also, to reach the concept of the healing garden, applying existing construction to create an illusion of a forest into the hospital environment.

I The design thought process started from existing building location to analysis the sun and wind effection through the interior. And using the letter “ L � to redesign the interior circulation, to gain a better opening space and organization.

I As a healthy hospital interior, it has designed humanize interior circulation to have an easy and comfortable treatment space. The interior provides a healthy colourful ceiling design to create an illusion of forest feeling. It is believed that the humanize interior circulation and interesting ceiling design helps to reduce the level of anxiety to staff, patient and visitor.

The project starts with the principle of the sun and shadow to gain an interesting natural light affection through the interior. All aspects that contribute to improving the living experience and environmentally sustainable. The design is basic on the exploration of lighting, shadow and sense of space to enhance the living experience. Location : Type : Year :

II To create a natural effection thought interior, the challenge was to gain an in-depth understanding of the sun and combining with a pattern to create an interesting design outcome. Transforming the geometry pattern by recombination the pattern and redesign it. Using the simple triangle shape as it brings more lighting into space and with playful shading.



II The design starts from the form of bee’s nest to offers a space experience with forms and produces visual effects of light and shadow. The facade pulled deep into the site, produces a spacious, shady entrance located in the southeast.

III Surfing - 澪 The Eatery

The design of the Eatery is inspired by the concept of the contemporary undulating curve. A Contemporary undulating curve is designed through the timber frame glass wall, bar and mezzanine floor to make the Eatery connect with the style of minimalist and imagination of sea wave. After consideration of orientation and position of solar, the undulating timber frame glass wall will provide excellent natural light to create a bright and clear environment. Main dining space is designed as a monumental and congenial opening area between the undulating curves and sofa. Mezzanine floor produces a more relaxing contemporary undulating curve timber floor. According to reach the concept of the curved design, the challenge is to create multiple timber frame and design it as beautiful sea wave curving to perfectly install into the existing construction. Transforming the surfing concept by sketching the sea wave-shaped and consider the position of solar to produces natural light and create a bright and clear dining environment

The initial design thought process started from existing interior. Reserve main wall and demolished the inter wall and some wall that subjected to sun. III As a contemporary eatery, it has design undulating curve through the timber frame glass wall, bar and mezzanine floor to connect with style of minimalist and imagination of sea wave. The space produces natural light and brightness into main dininer area between the undulating curves and sofa. The eatery design features a minimalist concrete and wooden element to create a beautiful visual effect. The texture and warmth color of the wood is adding natural touches to pursue a peaceful and calming dining space. The appliance of switchable glass helps protect privacy.
