What’s up @ An internal information service for DTI employees
Honesty is a custom at DTI
Maricel Camarador (right), a janitress of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) returned the P1,000.00 bill that she found at the DTI-Head Office Canteen to its grateful owner, Raquel Rom of DTI - Financial and Management Service (DTI-FMS), last July. Camarador was going to buy lunch at the canteen when she saw the money. She immediately surrendered it to Evelyn Garcia of Human Resource and Administrative Service (HRAS) and also reported the matter to her supervisor. “Sinurender ko kasi hindi naman sa akin. Malay mo, importante ‘yun sa may-ari, o kailangan din niya,” she said. When Rom went looking for the lost money, she was relieved and gratified to learn from the canteen staff that it was found. Camarador is a security guard’s wife and a mother of five children. She has been with Dear John Services, Inc. for five years now and this is her fourth year assignment in DTI.
