What’s up @ An internal information service for DTI employees

DTI-HRAS conducts 2nd Vendors’ Engagement Day The Department of Trade and Industry - Human Resource and Administrative Service (DTI-HRAS) conducted the 2nd Vendor’s Engagement Day on 12 September 2014 at the Audio Visual Room, Ground Floor, DTI International Building in Makati City. HRAS hosted the seminar for 50 representatives from different DTI suppliers and contractors as part of the strategic good governance initiatives in the DTI’s overall procurement system. HRAS Director Joel R. Cruz headed the annual event which aims to promote transparency in the procurement process within the Department by proactively engaging all registered and prospective vendors and bidders. The resource speakers included Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) Director Rosa Clemente who discussed the features and functionalities of the PhilGEPS, with emphasis on updates and future releases. On the other hand, Fair Trade and Enforcement Bureau (FTEB) Supervising Trade-Industry Development Specialist (SuTIDS) Mario Asis discussed the accreditation process and requirements for service and repair shops in compliance with Presidential Decree (P.D.) No. 1572.
