Likha ng Central Luzon Fair celebrates 16th year Commemorating its 16th year in a new venue, the Likha ng Central Luzon (LCL) Regional Trade Fair 2014 showcased a variety of globally competitive and innovative products in Glorietta Activity Center, Ayala, Makati City last 29 September - 2 October 2014. Participated by 119 exhibitors, the event was attended by Department of Trade and Industry-Regional Operations Group (ROG) Undersecretary Zenaida CuisonMaglaya, together with the Regional and Provincial Directors, Congresswoman Bellaflor J. Angara-Castillo, Ayala Land Group representatives, local government unit (LGU) representatives, and other government agencies’ officials. Philippine Exporters Foundation Region III, Inc. (Philexport-3) Executive Director Malou V. Balano delivered the welcome remarks on behalf of Philexport-3 President Crisanto N. Venzon. Balano said that everyone was excited for the fair’s new venue and looked forward to the event’s milestone performance.

Usec. Maglaya thanked everyone, the people who made the event possible – the DTI partners, business chambers, trade associations, cooperatives, LGUs, legislators, and Ayala Land Inc., and particularly the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from Bataan, Zambales, and other parts of Central Luzon, who participated in the fair. She added that the SMEs are the DTI’s inspiration in improving its services, adding that the SMEs are the Department’s hope and heroes in the countryside. Region-3 is not only limited to products such as parol, furnitures, and pasalubongs. They now offer a variety of goods that are world-class and export-worthy. Some of these featured products were furniture and home furnishings, ceramics, jewelries, fashion accessories, specialized garments, bead works, bags, footwear, gifts and holiday decors, other novelty products, and health and wellness products. The seven Region-3 provinces are promoting their provincial branding which are Siempre Aurora, Galing Bataan, Tatak Bulakeño, Taas Noo Novo Ecijano, Vida Pampanga, Natural Tarlac, and Zambales’ Finest.
