What’s up @ An internal information service for DTI employees
DTI employees donate blood anew As part of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) 32nd founding anniversary celebration, the DTI, in coordination with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Makati City Branch, organized another bloodletting activity on September 6, 2013 at the 6F Center Conference Room, DTI Main Building. Last year, DTI also conducted the same activity which produced 37 bags of blood from 60 DTI employees. This year, a total of 31 employees qualified to donate blood. According to General Administrative Service (GAS) Director Joel R. Cruz, this will now be a regular activity of the Department. The partnership with PRC in the said activity would give DTI employees and their dependents priority in acquiring these blood donations in case of need. The PRC cited the benefits of donating blood: Stimulates production of red cells, Good for personal health check, and Boosts self-worth and safe and adequate blood supply.
