Sikat Pinoy National Handicrafts Fair earns P51.45M After the success of the Sikat Pinoy National Food Fair in August this year, the Department of Trade and Industry-Bureau of Domestic Trade’s (DTI-BDT) follow-up trade fair, the Sikat Pinoy National Handicrafts Fair (NHF) generated total sales of P51.45M. Held at SM Megatrade Halls 1-3, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City last September 19-23, the five-day event was visited by over 18,000 guests. Over 300 participants from different regions joined the fair. Region 4A topped the list of exhibitors with 47 participating firms followed by Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) with 37 and National Capital Region (NCR) with 29 participants, respectively. The top three performing regions (cash and booked sales) were CAR with P13.55M; Region 10, P 6.23M; and Region 1, P4.35M. Awards were also given to the following exhibitors: Best Dressed Booth Espacio Interior Design of Region 2 (Furniture and Furnishings) JRED Arts and Crafts of Region 4A (Gift, Décor, and Houseware) Most Innovative Product ABK 101 Corporation’s Engineered Bamboo High-back Chair of Region 4A DOREVI Industries’ Ferris Wheel Bamboo Picture of Region 1 Top Seller Exhibitor JB Campol’s Furniture of CAR with P6.7M cash and booked sales (Furniture and Furnishing) P1 Handicrafts of Region 7 with P0.98M cash and booked sales (Gift, Décor, and Houseware).
