DTI commemorates 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) celebrated the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution in a simple observance led by the Management Services Group (MSG) during the flag raising ceremony last February 24, 2014 at the DTI Main Building’s parking lot.

Undersecretary for MSG Nora K. Terrado leads the DTI’s commemoration of the EDSA People Power Revolution’s 28th Anniversary during the flag ceremony on February 24, 2014.

DTI Undersecretary for MSG Nora K. Terrado shared some bits of historic information that happened in one of the most important events in Philippine history 28 years ago. “Through the events that happened during the EDSA revolution, Filipinos learned the importance of fighting for what you believe in especially if it involves what is right and what benefits the majority,” she said. She added that Filipinos should continue to remember the importance of the EDSA People Power Revolution in the Philippine history and pass it on to the future generations. DTI employees wore a yellow ribbon prepared by the Human Resource Development and Personnel Services (HRDPS) to symbolize their unity in commemorating the historic event. Do you have an inspiring story to share with the DTI family? Is there a DTI staff or experience you want to brag about? Please tell us by e-mail to publications@dti.gov.ph.
