What’s up @ An internal information service for DTI employees
DTI supports DOH’s Pilipinas Go4Health project In support of the Department of Health’s Pilipinas Go4Health project, the Department of Trade and Industry-Human Resource Development and Personnel Service (DTI-HRDPS) facilitated the face-to-face interviews of some permanent DTI personnel with DOH representatives on February 14, 2014 at the DTI clinic. DOH recently launched the project nationwide to increase people’s awareness on and the participation to healthy lifestyle activities. The project also aims to gather data on Filipinos’ physical activity profile. The landmark study hopes to augment the minimal data available on Pinoys’ physical activities compared to the many data available on diet, smoking, and alcohol consumption. DOH encourages individuals and institutions to join them in the landmark study which has Executive Departments’ career government employees as respondents. The data gathered will be used in developing policies and strategies for an effective implementation of lifestyle-related disease prevention and control program.
(Seated) Cyrus Kim Bautista of the Trade and Industry Information Center (TIIC), soon to be renamed as Knowledge Management and Information Service (KMIS), has his vital signs checked up by a DOH representative before he proceeds to the face-to-face interview. Do you have an inspiring story to share with the DTI family? Is there a DTI staff or experience you want to brag about? Please tell us by e-mail to publications@dti.gov.ph.
