THE PARK HYATT DUBAI LADIES

Jumeirah Golf Estates hosted The Park Hyatt Dubai Ladies in a Pairs Betterball Stableford format over the Earth Course. The course was playing beautifully, however a slight morning breeze and some early dew made the playing conditions slightly harder than usual.

The January edition of The Park Hyatt Dubai Ladies was won by Shuang Sha and Anna Abbott with a wonderful score of 35 points. It was a dramatic finish with Shuang scoring four points on the last hole to see the pair win on a card playoff against Willemijn Roeterdink and Mitsuko Emmerson. The pair only managed a point on the last hole to also finish with a score of 35 points, however Willemijn and Mitsuko played very consistent scoring 17 points on the front nine and 18 on the back nine.

In Third place finishing 1 point off the winners were Bettina Schrockenfuchs and Lisa Lynch with 34 points. Their round included 13 net pars and 2 net birdies to help them clinch a place in the prizes.

On the day there was a couple of on-course prizes, winning nearest the pin on hole 6 was won by Marlies Zilkens and winning nearest the pin on hole 17 was Mitsuko Emmerson with a stunning shot that she converted into a two.
