Terra Madre Balkans Bringing together food communities from Southeast Europe From 21-23 May, over 100 delegates from 9 countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, the Republic of Macedonia, Romania, and Serbia) will gather in Brussels and showcase the rich agricultural and gastronomic heritage and potential of the Balkan area.
Programme (22 May) 12:00-14:00 Island of Balkan Taste: Tasting of unique products from the Balkans in front of the European Parliament canteen and special Bulgarian dishes prepared by chef Georgi Boykovski on the menu. 16:00-18:00 “Western Balkans’ potential for sustainable rural development as a driver to EU integration” conference (EP room A3E-2).
